On tour with Whistle Down The Wind

Hi - it's Andrea!

I am enjoying the last bit of my week off from Whistle Down the Wind, and I fly to Minnesota tomorrow morning. I just wanted to say a hello to everyone, since it has been a while. I am having a fantastic time on the US tour, and I really appreciate all of your support!

Whistle Down the Wind is going very well, and our first two stops went better than any of us expected. We started off the tour in Houston, Texas, and then we went to Hartford, Connecticut for a week. A lot of my family and friends came to see me in CT, and I just had a week off to visit with them.

I also attended my high school, Noble and Greenough, during my week off. It was a little different than the school I have on the road  It has been a challenge balancing school with the shows, but my school has been very supportive.

I am learning so much doing this show, and I love touring with such a wonderful cast. We had an incredible creative team, and I had been so excited to work with Bill Kenwright, our genious of a director. He has so much belief in the show, and he instilled this in all of us. With his guidance and direction, the show really blossomed. I am so honored to be a part of it, and very grateful to Andrew Lloyd Webber for asking me to audition. It has been an experience I will not forget!

Hope everyone is doing well, and having a great Fall season!

xoxo

Andrea
